Chicago-based food-tech company Nature’s Fynd, which produces the Fy nutritional fungi protein, announced today that its Fy Breakfast Bundle, including Original Dairy-Free Cream Cheese and Original Meatless Breakfast Patties, is on sale on its website.

The two products are vegan and non-GMO and give consumers a first-taste of its breakfast product line set to release later this year. The limited release bundles are available for $14.99 plus shipping and is available in the 48 contiguous US states.

Fy is derived from a naturally-occurring microbe with origins in Yellowstone National Park. Its versatility has enabled Nature’s Fynd to create a wide variety of meatless and dairy-free foods and it is vegan, rich in protein and fibre, and non-GMO certified, as well as containing no cholesterol or trans fats.

Nature’s Fynd chief executive Thomas Jonas said: “We choose optimism so that we can find a way to do more with less. Using our novel liquid-air surface fermentation technology, we’re creating a range of sustainable foods that nourish our bodies and nurture our planet for generations to come. We’re really excited to be at the beginning of this journey with the launch of our first-ever limited release of Fy Breakfast Bundles. We’ve deeply studied our consumers and we know that Fy’s unique versatility, which delivers great tasting meat and dairy alternatives for every occasion, is highly appealing.”
