US: NationsBenefits to acquire DeliverLean
Hollywood, Florida-headquartered DeliverLean produces more than ten million meals annually

Plantation, Florida-based NationsBenefits, a provider of supplemental benefits, flex healthcare cards, and member engagement solutions for health plans, is acquiring DeliverLean, a large food manufacturer specialising in health and wellness.
NationsBenefits caters to people with health plans with Medicare Advantage (MA) and Part D Plans. The Hollywood, Florida-headquartered company said it produces over ten million meals annually.
DeliverLean’s stated that its food as medicine solution, which is being introduced with the NationsMarket brand name, will help MA plan members and low-income populations to live healthier lives.

By joining forces and expanding our healthy foods suite of solutions, this enhances our strategy of using supplemental benefits to improve member outcomes.”

Scott Harris will continue to lead this division, as a part of NationsBenefits.
The acquisition is expected to close by the end of this month.
