Tesco expands buyer search via RangeMe platform partnership

UK grocery giant Tesco has partnered with product sourcing platform RangeMe to scale its buyer search and gain greater visibility of smaller brands.

The RangeMe platform will enable the retailer to filter searches and find brands that meet its sourcing needs, including curated collections covering key emerging trends in food and nutrition.

The program helps suppliers and brands to showcase their product ranges and increase visibility among buyers.

“We welcome Tesco to our community of top retailers from around the world to transform their product sourcing experience,” RangeMe CEO Nicky Jackson said.

“This is also an extraordinary opportunity for British suppliers to showcase their products directly to Tesco buyers and put their best foot forward,” Jackson added.

RangeMe launched in the UK earlier this year and has since established partnerships with Asda, Coop and Lloyds Pharmacy. It currently has 175,000 suppliers subscribed to the platform, providing over 700,000 products.

The company was established in 2014 in the US. Jackson previously worked in branding for leading CPGs PepsiCo and the Kellogg Company.
